After an uncharacteristically down year for the Daddies, the team has spent the offseason recharging its batteries and looking forward to strong 2007. Shocking to many (including this blogger), A-Rod is still a member of the Daddies and looking forward to another banner season.
DONT NEEDS:
IF: This has to be the biggest no brainer of all the draft prognostications. This infield has Michael Barrett/Paul LoDuca, Ryan Howard, Tad Iguchi, Carlos Guillen and A-Rod. No real help needed here.
NEEDS:
SP/RP: Continuing the broken record theme, the Daddies will be looking to bolster the starting rotation and their relief corps. Bonderman, Bedard, and Halladay are solid, and Jon Garland will likely win 15-17 games with the White Sox lineup behind him. Brian Fuentes is solid even though everyone continues to anticipate a collapse in the mile high air. Brad Lidge could be dominating - but who knows where his head is at.
PROGNOSTICATION:
Look for the Daddies to go reliever in the early rounds and then fill in with some SP help. With all these clubs looking for RP help, tonight should be very interesting!
