Smokey Louis Fanatics,
I want to let you know that last week's games decided the identity of the four playoff teams for 2007. They are the Pugs, the Panthers, the Hitmen, and the Chopp Sticks. Their order of finish, and thus the actual playoff matchups, will be determined by the outcome of Week 18 games. In the meantime, congratulations to Dave, V, Kuth and Chopper, all of whom did an excellent job of building winning ball clubs. The playoff games should be very interesting indeed!
As a reminder to non-playoff clubs, all rosters will be frozen as of the end of major league games this Sunday, August 12. So, if you would like to make any moves to position yourself for next year, you must make them before the end of games on Sunday.
For the playoff clubs, remember that, as of Monday, once the playoffs start, you can only make injury-forced, and strictly limited, transactions.
